Kelley Kronenberg is hiring for a Legal Assistant to join our PIP team at the Fort Lauderdale headquarters! This department is fast-paced, technology savvy, and team-oriented. Essential Functions:
- Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production
- Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions
- Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments
- Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc.
- Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone & computer) required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training in insurance defense litigation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
- Aderant Total Office (ATO) knowledge a plus
