Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a Partner to join our General Liability practice in New York. This role is designed for an experienced litigator prepared to manage a sophisticated caseload, mentor junior talent, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth in the New York metropolitan market.
Case Management: Lead and manage a diverse General Liability caseload from inception through trial or resolution within the New York court systems.
Litigation Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive litigation plans, including high-stakes depositions, mediations, and appearances in New York State and Federal courts.
Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise associate attorneys and legal support staff, providing guidance on case development, local rules, and professional growth.
Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for insurance carriers and corporate clients, ensuring high-level service and reporting.
Business Development: Support practice group expansion through networking and maintaining strong industry relationships within the New York legal and insurance communities.
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission: New York Bar Membership in good standing (additional admission in NJ or CT is a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of General Liability or Insurance Defense litigation experience, with a deep understanding of New York Labor Law (Sections 240/241) and local practice.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex litigation, navigating the New York City and suburban court systems, and leading a legal team.
Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
