Partner – Foreclosure Practice (Indiana)

Are you a powerhouse attorney ready to take your foreclosure litigation career to the next level? We're seeking a driven, experienced Partner-Level Attorney to join our dynamic Indiana/Illinois foreclosure department — and make a real impact from day one. If you have deep creditors' rights or foreclosure experience and an active Indiana Bar license, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or in-office arrangement across our Chicago, Merrillville, or Indianapolis offices — so whether you're Illinois-based or Indiana-based, you're welcome here.

Key Responsibilities

As a Partner-Level Attorney, you will:

  • Take command of mortgage foreclosure cases from inception through successful resolution, driving outcomes that matter.
  • Conduct sharp, in-depth legal research and craft compelling pleadings, motions, and complex court documents.
  • Lead a robust foreclosure litigation caseload with precision — hitting every deadline and exceeding every client expectation.
  • Step into the courtroom with confidence, representing clients at trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, delivering clear, proactive communication and sound legal guidance.
  • Partner with fellow attorneys and legal staff to deliver the highest caliber of legal services across the board.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Indiana Bar admission required. Admission to the Illinois or Michigan Bar is a meaningful plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience representing lenders in mortgage foreclosure or creditors' rights litigation — this is non-negotiable.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and legal writing skills with a proven ability to handle complex litigation start to finish.
  • Familiarity with industry platforms such as LPS/Black Knight and Tempo is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple high-priority matters, and thrive under demanding deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that build lasting client relationships.

What We Offer

We invest in our attorneys — full stop. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Competitive salary with a generous compensation structure ($120,000–$180,000, commensurate with experience, geography, and qualifications), plus annual bonus eligibility

  • Paid time off, floating holidays, and a dedicated mental health day
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
