Kelley Kronenberg is hiring a Director of Application Delivery & Integration! This role is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of software applications and integration initiatives across the firm. In this role the Director of Application Delivery & Integration will partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget deployments, robust API/middleware connectivity, and high-quality user experiences. Additionally, the Director of Application Delivery & Integration will develop deep subject-matter expertise (SME) on our core legal, financial, and operational applications, advising the CIO on configuration, best practices, and strategic optimization.
Project & Portfolio Management
- Lead the full lifecycle of application projects: requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Establish and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk/issue logs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, finance, operations, vendors) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Integration Architecture & Delivery
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between core systems (e.g., practice management, billing, document management, CRM).
- Define data mapping, transformation rules, and API standards to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Oversee middleware platforms, monitor throughput, troubleshoot interface failures, and optimize workflows.
Subject-Matter Expertise & CIO Advisory
- Become the go-to SME for key applications—understanding configuration options, release schedules, and emerging features.
- Provide the CIO with strategic recommendations on system enhancements, upgrades, and rationalization of the application portfolio.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation (architecture diagrams, configuration guides, runbooks) to inform executive decision-making.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Develop and enforce best-practice standards for code review, testing protocols, and deployment processes.
- Implement change-management controls and ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate user-acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Create and deliver training materials, workshops, and “train-the-trainer” sessions for IT staff and end users.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
