Overview

Kelley Kronenberg is hiring a Director of Application Delivery & Integration! This role is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of software applications and integration initiatives across the firm. In this role the Director of Application Delivery & Integration will partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget deployments, robust API/middleware connectivity, and high-quality user experiences. Additionally, the Director of Application Delivery & Integration will develop deep subject-matter expertise (SME) on our core legal, financial, and operational applications, advising the CIO on configuration, best practices, and strategic optimization.

Project & Portfolio Management

  1. Lead the full lifecycle of application projects: requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  2. Establish and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk/issue logs.
  3. Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, finance, operations, vendors) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Integration Architecture & Delivery

  1. Design, implement, and maintain integrations between core systems (e.g., practice management, billing, document management, CRM).
  2. Define data mapping, transformation rules, and API standards to ensure data integrity and performance.
  3. Oversee middleware platforms, monitor throughput, troubleshoot interface failures, and optimize workflows.

Subject-Matter Expertise & CIO Advisory

  1. Become the go-to SME for key applications—understanding configuration options, release schedules, and emerging features.
  2. Provide the CIO with strategic recommendations on system enhancements, upgrades, and rationalization of the application portfolio.
  3. Maintain up-to-date documentation (architecture diagrams, configuration guides, runbooks) to inform executive decision-making.

Quality Assurance & Governance

  1. Develop and enforce best-practice standards for code review, testing protocols, and deployment processes.
  2. Implement change-management controls and ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Facilitate user-acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  1. Create and deliver training materials, workshops, and “train-the-trainer” sessions for IT staff and end users.
  2. Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Leadership and team-management capability

  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
