Overview

Kelley Kronenberg's New York office is hiring! We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our PIP team! This department is fast-paced, technology savvy, and team-oriented. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is eager to make an impact and is driven to exceed expectations. Salary: $50,000 - $70,000

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production
  • Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions
  • Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments
  • Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc. 
  • Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone & computer) required. 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training in insurance defense litigation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
  • Aderant Total Office (ATO) knowledge a plus
