Overview

Position Overview: Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts from our Ft. Lauderdale headquarters. This high-impact role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the firm’s growing needs, with a strong emphasis on networking, expanding our attorney roster—especially private-pay attorneys—and enhancing the diversity of our offerings. As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will play a vital role in building and diversifying our team, ensuring Kelley Kronenberg attracts high-caliber talent across all levels, from lateral partners and associates to C-suite and director roles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Talent Acquisition Strategy: Lead recruitment initiatives for all roles, including lateral hires, partners, associates, and senior executives, aligning hiring strategies with the firm’s long-term vision.
  • Networking & Attorney Acquisition: Actively engage in legal networks and professional associations to attract top attorneys and expand our service offerings in diverse practice areas.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Oversee and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, managing recruitment for open staff roles and supporting their professional growth.
  • Summer Associate Program & OCI: Spearhead our Summer Associate Program and on-campus interviewing (OCI) process to secure top legal talent from emerging professionals.
  • DEI Leadership: Serve as Co-Chair of Kelley Kronenberg’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, championing our commitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage data insights to optimize recruiting strategies, improve the hiring process, and develop employer branding to attract the best talent in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm or agency setting, with extensive experience in sourcing and networking.
  • 5+ years of management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing talent acquisition professionals.
  • Proficient in iCIMS or similar ATS systems; strong technology and process management skills.
  • Proven expertise in best practices for talent acquisition, recruiting tools, and process optimization.
