Position Overview:
As an Attorney in the Commercial Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights team, you will play a key role in advising and representing commercial clients in complex bankruptcy and creditors' rights cases. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team, manage a diverse caseload, and contribute to the firm's continued success in this dynamic practice area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bankruptcy Representation: Represent commercial clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, providing expert legal guidance and developing effective strategies.
- Creditors' Rights: Assist creditors in recovering debts and protecting their rights in bankruptcy and litigation matters.
- Commercial Litigation: Handle complex commercial litigation cases related to bankruptcy and creditors' rights.
- Case Management: Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution, working closely with clients to achieve their goals.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues across departments to develop integrated legal strategies and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial bankruptcy, with additional experience in creditors' rights and commercial litigation preferred.
- Educational Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Admission to practice in Florida.
