We are currently seeking an experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney with a robust background in estate planning, probate litigation, and guardianship administration. Position Overview:
As an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, you will handle a diverse caseload involving all facets of estate planning, probate litigation, and guardianship administration. This position demands a deep understanding of Florida guardianship and probate laws, and the ability to manage complex cases with precision and client-focused sensitivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills and a thorough knowledge of estate planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective estate planning strategies for clients, including the drafting of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Handle all aspects of probate administration and litigation, ensuring compliance with all state laws and court procedures.
- Manage guardianship cases from inception through resolution, providing guidance and support to guardians and families.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and goals, providing tailored advice and services.
- Engage in regular client consultations, offering clear communication and updates regarding case progress.
- Participate in the firm’s business development activities, helping to expand the client base and the firm’s presence in the estate planning and probate sector.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of three years of experience in estate planning, probate litigation, and guardianship administration.
- Strong litigation experience and comprehensive knowledge of Florida probate and guardianship law.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate our diverse client base.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
