Overview

The Kelley Kronenberg Tampa Office is hiring a Legal Assistant to join our First-Party Property team! Our team is made up of exceptional legal minds who thrive in our professional working environment. Our success is driven by collaboration, teamwork, and respect. We are seeking someone who has experience in First-Party litigation or similar to operate as a key member of this team. This position would be based out of our Tampa office!

 

What you would do: 

  • Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production
  • Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions
  • Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments
  • Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc. 
  • Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone & computer) required. 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training in civil litigation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in First Party-Property a plus
  • MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
  • Aderant Total Office (ATO) knowledge a plus
