As a Partner/Business Unit Leader with our firm, you will have the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, collaborate with a team of talented professionals, and make a meaningful impact on the success of our clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the law and is committed to providing excellent client service. 

A successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex litigation cases in First-Party Property Defense. 

Responsibilities:

• Continue handling complex First Party Property law cases, offering expert legal advice, and representing clients in court.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of First Party Property, including legislative changes and best practices.
• Play a crucial role in attracting new clients and retaining existing ones, ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Engage in networking, industry events, and marketing activities to expand the firm's client base and reputation.
• Participate in the management of the firm, contributing to strategic, financial, and organizational planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and associates, fostering a culture of professional growth.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across various practice areas, contributing to the firm's overall success.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within the firm.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and compliance with legal regulations within the firm.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the bar required.

A Book of Business of at least $200,000.

Several years of experience practicing law, with a focus on defense litigation preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
Demonstrated success in representing clients in complex litigation matters
