Overview

Kelley Kronenberg is hiring for a Director of Accounts Payable in our award-winning Ft. Lauderdale office. This person will be joining a dynamic and team-oriented department who is looking for someone to make an immediate impact. Director of Accounts Payable must have credit card processing, reconciliation, and previous management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the A/P and Client Cost Checks Workflow and team to ensure timely and accurate payments to all KK Vendors and KK Employees.
  • Perform Expense analysis for trend variations and unexpected changes in recurring expenses.
  • Complete Cost Savings analysis to identify ways to reduce Firm overhead.
  • Review and maintain vendor contracts and negotiate for discounts.
  • Oversee administration of Expense reporting software including reporting and accounts reconciliations.
  • Communicate & effectively follow-up with all vendors and KK Employees on a timely basis.
  • Review vendor Statements and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Manage pass-through cost process
  • Ensure vendor invoices are approved by appropriate Department Head/BUL.
  • Perform adhoc review of vendor invoices for appropriate GL and Departmental coding.
  • Review and file 1099s annually.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong prior experience with Concur required. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
